Waterlase

At our practice, we use the Waterlase dental laser to enhance endodontic treatments. Waterlase uses laser energy with water to clean and disinfect the root canal system. It generates shock waves that significantly improve disinfection by reaching bacteria in hard-to-reach areas.

Here’s how it works: Waterlase lasers utilize laser-induced activation in water to create shock waves. When the laser pulse interacts with the water, it forms a plasma (an ionized gas) that rapidly expands, producing a high-pressure shock wave that travels through the water. These shock waves help disrupt bacterial biofilms and debris within the root canal, enhancing cleaning.

This technology allows us to be minimally invasive and retain more of your natural tooth structure. Our commitment to using the latest technology ensures you receive the highest standard of care for your root canal treatment.
